Tudorovic Group
The Tudorovic Group of Companies, owned by the Tudorovic Family of Adelaide South Australia, consists of the Davalan Holdings Pty. Ltd. operating in Australia and Arsenal Holdings d.o.o. operating in Croatia. Davor Tudorovic who immigrated to Australia from the Zadar region of Croatia in 1956 founded the Group, which today employs over 400 people.
In Adelaide the Group encompasses Davalan Industries (Local Government Contracting), Davalan Concrete (premix concrete), Tudor Pavers Pty. Ltd. (a leading manufacturer and supplier of concrete pavers), Cooke Pre Cast Concrete Pty. Ltd. (manufacturer of pre cast concrete drainage products) and Trenel Pty.Ltd. (production of sands & aggregates).
The family also has an interest in the Spencer Gulf Prawn Fishing Industry and is actively involved in property development in South Australia.
In Croatia the family?s holding company, Arsenal Holding d.o.o, owns a substantial ?High Street? retail property portfolio along with controlling interests in some of the regions largest companies.
The Group operates 17 retail outlets, focusing on major international brands, through its subsidiary Tekstil d.o.o.. The management team responsible for the restructuring and modernization of Tekstil, although working in a difficult business environment, has built the company into one of the most successful in the region.
In 1999, the Group acquired a majority interest in the resort company, Ilirija d.d.,. This company owns and operates four hotels (1100 beds) and three Marinas (total berths 750) and associated tourism assets, in the Adriatic resort town of Biograd. Over the last three years the company has seen overnight stays increase from 75,000 in 1999 to a record 215,000 in 2002.
The family continued to expand its Croatian property portfolio with the acquisition of Trgovinski Centar d.o.o. in 2004. Trgovinski Centar Zadar d.o.o. holds the centre management contract for phase one of the Zadar Mall along with the land on which it will be developing the 24,000 m2 phase 2 of the Mall.
